⭐ Working with digital 3D technologies is a crea $⭐ Working with digital 3D technologies is a creative process that can be used to capture many different things ⭐ These 3D models were generated using an app called Polycam (https://poly.cam/) utilising the lidar scanner on the iPad Pro 11 (2020). The app enables you to scan objects as well as spaces, and you have a degree of control on the accuracy of your model based on the time taken to scan your site or object. These scans were based on the fractured nature of the landscape in Amatrice, Accumoli, and L'Aquila (earthquake Italy), and show the differences light has on an object. This approach doesn't necessarily chase accuracy but instead looks at how elements of rupture could be captured within sites, artefacts and places. Creator @virtually_there_studio thinks of these scans as sketches that could be deployed to a range of platforms or used as assets to develop virtual heritage via the web browser or other apps. #rebuild #sense #place #replace #digital #3d #scans #technologies$
